Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: India – 2.5D side-scroller with elements of stealth action. The second part of the Chronicles trilogy, having stylistic differences with a different set of skills for the protagonists. There is only a single player campaign, no multiplayer.

The plot is dedicated to the fight against the colonialists from Britain. The main character is Arbaaz Mir, one of the inhabitants of the Sikh Empire. His burden will be the protection of his beloved Pyara Kaur, the search for the mysterious box of the Assassins and the destruction of the Templars in the territory of his native state. The time frame of the story is the 19th century, 1841.

There are 10 levels at various locations and cities: the Katas Raj Temple in Punjab, the Summer Palace, the Templars’ base and the Forerunners’ abode in Amritsar, and two locations in Herat, located in Afghanistan. Some missions will be diluted with additional quests: finding hidden messages, eliminating the highest ranks of the Templars, stealing data or jewelry from the guards, and others.

The antagonist of the unit is William Slimane, the commander-in-chief of the Templars. An important person is another member of the Order – Sir Alexander Burns. In addition to them, the plot features: Hamid, George Eden, Alexander the Great, Ranjit Singh and so on.

Arbaaz’s weaponry is not the most diverse – a hidden blade, different swords to choose from, chakram throwing knives, a boarding cat and a firearm. The gameplay of the game is based on acrobatic riddles, battles with enemies (sometimes in open combat, sometimes with the help of stealth) and the use of eagle vision. “Chronicles of Assassin’s Creed: India” does not have the longest plot – it will take about 8 hours for an unprepared gamer to complete all tasks.
