Abyss takes us to a bleak and dystopian future. Humanity is ruled by the religious organization “Cult of the Abyss”. She established power over everyone with the help of an artifact found on the planet Reed. The device makes it possible to erase the boundaries between the worlds. In the new world order, everyone is strictly assigned a specific role in society. One day, the cultists notice a habitable celestial body and send the colonizers on an expedition. However, something goes wrong.

The Abyss is a visual novel. The gameplay consists of looking at pictures, reading a lot of text, and making choices on rare occasions. This title differs from other projects in its visual style and unusual art. Moreover, this style is explained by lore. We run a guy named Dass Vizor. He works for this organization.

The anti-hero is engaged in the fact that he is looking for obsessed people and pronounces a sentence on them. The man paid for his ability with his sight, becoming almost blind. Instead of creatures, he sees only their auras. Also, the main character is able to see some kind of “black energy”. The indie project has a non-linear plot. In total, the story has 2 endings – bad and good. It is not necessary to go through everything again to get an alternative ending to the story. The final is given at the very end.
