CD Projekt RED studio head Adam Badowski said that he and his colleagues have begun developing a sequel to the shooter Cyberpunk 2077.

The game is currently under the test name Project Orion, and is being handled by two offices at once. The specialists were able to switch to the next project after the release of the Phantom Liberty expansion for the original Cyberpunk 2077. As previously reported, the first part of the shooter will no longer receive content additions, but what will happen with its continuation has not yet been announced.

Note that 8 years have passed since the announcement of Cyberpunk 2077 until its release. Accordingly, you definitely can’t expect any specifics about Project Orion in the next few years.
