Activision is gearing up for the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III this month. From October 6 to 10, an open beta for PlayStation took place, from October 12 to 13, pre-order holders will be able to evaluate the game, and from October 14, the beta test will open to all players on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
In anticipation of the imminent release, which will take place on November 10, a YouTube user with the nickname BEQA decided to compare the graphics of the fresh Modern Warfare III 2023 and Modern Warfare 2 2009. In a ten-minute video, the player compared in detail the visual effects, texture quality, as well as some mechanics, such as flying a helicopter and exploding vehicles.
At first glance, it is clear that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III looks much fresher than its older sister. This is not surprising given the difference of 14 years. On the other hand, many players noted that the quality is not as high as it could be. And the chief editor of the site DSOGaming – John – mentioned that he was even a little disappointed.
“You could say I’m a little disappointed. After all, both MW2 and MWIII run at the same frame rate (60 FPS) on consoles. So yeah, it’s a shame that the game doesn’t look any better.”
