Braid Anniversary Edition will be released April 30, 2024 on PC, Xbox Series and Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and 5, iOS and Android. The smartphone version will be published by Netflix, so you must have an active subscription.
Braid Anniversary Edition is a re-release of the classic puzzle platformer where the player manipulates time to complete 2D levels. Now art design has become more similar to art paintings, and 1 pixel from the classic version now accounts for as many as 9 pixels.
Some levels in Braid Anniversary Edition will be completely or partially redesigned to make them more unique. The developers also promise “a whole new world of mysteries.”
The Braid Anniversary Edition will also contain comments from the developers about how they created this game. They promise that this will be the most extensive commentary of any other project. Therefore, if you are interested in learning about how games and Braid in particular are created, you should wait for the Anniversary Edition.
