Developers from Larian Studios have clarified that the release date of Baldur’s Gate 3 for Xbox consoles will be announced during the ceremony The Game Awards 2023. Before this, it was already known that the port would be released in December of this year, but no details were specified. The PC and PlayStation 5 versions initially released as scheduled, but Baldur’s Gate 3 for Xbox Series X|S was delayed due to problems with the co-op mode and Split Screen mechanics.
Let us remind you that Baldur’s Gate 3, it seems, even before its release topped the top games of this year and is now striving with all its might to receive the official title at The Game Awards 2023. At the moment, the RPG is nominated for as many as 8 awards in the following categories:
- Best Game Directing;
- Best Role Playing Game;
- Best Soundtrack;
- Best multiplayer;
- Best community support;
- Best Acting;
- Best Narrative;
- Best game of the year.
