The long-awaited remake of Ark: Survival Evolved on the engine Unreal Engine 5, about which there were almost no details all this time, unexpectedly came out yesterday – October 25. The new Ark: Survival Ascended is currently only available for PC users via Steam. The version for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 consoles is delayed, but should appear in November.

Ark: Survival Ascended was supposed to be released this summer, but the developers postponed the date several times and changed the final cost. The most interesting thing is that until yesterday no one had even seen the gameplay of the new game, which was shown only in the release trailer. It looks very nice – you can see that the visual has grown a lot compared to the original. In addition, Studio Wildcard promises a new redesigned interface, more detailed character customization, split screen support for multiplayer mode and a sea of innovations, such as items, structures and creatures.

Ark: Survival Ascended was originally supposed to release alongside the Scorched Earth DLC, but it was pushed back to December 2023. In addition to this, players can expect remasters of the maps Ragnarok and Aberration, but here the developers did not have exact dates – just the first quarter of 2024.
