The Odd Meter studio together with the developers from 11 bit have released a trailer announcing a very unusual adventure INDIKA. Already in the first quarter (January-March) of 2024, we will see an alternative history of Russia in the 19th century and try on the role of a nun. There is no specific release date. It is known that the game will be released on PC and current consoles: PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S with Russian voice acting.

As seen in the trailer, we’ll take on the role of the titular nun named Indica, who is forced to embark on an amazing journey between good and evil. In it, she learns how blurred any boundaries are, and that the world is not divided into black and white.

Gameplay INDIKA is a third-person story that combines puzzles, platforming elements, and a regular adventure. The authors themselves compared the creation to “Hellblade without the combat system or Plague Tale without the rats.” But everything is not so simple – the more complicated the story of the main character becomes, the more difficult it is to find a specific genre for the game. In the end, INDIKA looks more like an arthouse feature film that stops entertaining and starts asking very important questions.
