The model received a patented active cooling system.
ADATA has launched its first USB4 external SSD, the SE920, which supports Thunderbolt 3 and 4 and is backward compatible with USB 3.2 and USB 2.0. Performance can reach up to 3800 MB/s per second.
The SE920 features a proprietary spring-loaded chassis and built-in fan that delivers superior cooling performance and, according to the manufacturer, gives consumers maximum performance at high speeds.
In addition to the SE920 USB4, ADATA has also released the SD620 and SC610 external SSDs.
- The SD620 has a MIL-STD drop and shock resistance of 1.22 meters and data transfer rates of up to 520MB/s.
- The SC610 features a portable design that mimics the form factor of a flash drive with the performance of an external SSD. It uses a capless retractable connector that does not require a transmission cable. Data transfer speed reaches 550/500 MB per second.
