THQ Nordic and Appeal Studios are working hard on the sequel to the action game Outcast – A New Beginning, which will again return us to the wonderful world of the Talan people. Today – November 16 – they presented the first gameplay trailer with a combat system, in which they showed the main character’s weapon, jetpack and special skills of local residents that will help us in battles.
Particular attention in the trailer was given to the main weapon of the hero – a special modular gun that can be changed directly during the battle. For this, there is a separate inventory with 24 modules to choose from, of which 6 can be installed at the same time. As the developers say, we will be able to combine more than 900 thousand variations – literally for every taste.
Another feature of battles in Outcast – A New Beginning is the Power of Talan, which you can attract to help you. The more the player helps local residents, the more effectively they will help in battle: they will bombard or turn off gravity for opponents.
The new product does not have a release date, but it is known that Outcast – A New Beginning will be released on PC in Steam and current consoles: PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
