Paths & Danger is a dark turn-based combat game that was released on April 16, 2022 on Steam and May 3 of the same year on the App Store. Now this project is being prepared for release on Android – pre-registration has begun on Google Play, a trial launch is not taking place anywhere.
In terms of setting, art, and some gameplay moments, Paths & Danger is reminiscent of Darkest Dungeon. The player controls a group of medieval heroes who travel through randomly generated locations and participate in battles. The developers also promise elements from the bagel genre.
Paths & Danger received mixed reviews on Steam and some rave reviews on the App Store. Those who have played consider this game to be a “cheap clone of Darkest Dungeon”; On the plus side, they highlight many classes with their own characteristics and “jokes,” but the project seemed crude to them.
I note that Paths & Danger may not have a Russian localization, according to Steam. It is also better to buy this game at a discount, although it can be downloaded for free in the App Store, but classes will have to be unlocked for money.
